Going Green

by Christina McMullen

Usually I pass up books of this genre, but my interest wad piqued when my man told me how much he enjoyed reading this book and the new spins on zombies. Outbreak wasn’t initiated by normal paths, but rather by an artificially created substance, dispersed over a very wide area. Multiple outbreak zones, zombie animals, mass evacuations, are just some of the elements that Going Green has. There’s multiple reasons this book was a delight, especially with the epilogue and the wide varying points of characters. There’s so much more I’d like to say, but don’t want to give away more of this story. Five stars out of five!

Siren’s Fury by Mary Weber

To me, this story had a very slow start.  I have not read any other books in this series so I felt a bit lost with what was going on in the book.  I really liked the cover of this book and the description pulled me in but I was disappointed in the whole book and I would probably not continue with this series in the future. * I received this book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  3/5 *Releases in June*

Revenants Abroad by D.D. Syrdal

Yes this book is another vampire book.  But with that being said it was good.  I enjoyed it more than I thought when I first started the book.  Andrej is a vampire who does jobs for criminals just for fun really. This book is set in the future and the world is recovering from war.  I did enjoy the characters and the action in this book. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Guardians of the Grove: Book One of The Bow Maiden Chronicles by J.W. Davis

This book has an interesting story and characters kept me coming back for more. It has a some good of drama, intrigue and humor as added throughout the story. The author spends time building the world in a couple of chapters but soon after the story begins to take you on a journey with these characters. I am wondering what is going to happen with Meeka, Adrick and Jasa in the next book. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

Homegrown Terror by Steve White

This book for me was good.  I like to watch the “Spy Kids” movies so I was excited to read this book and see if it was anything like it.  IN some ways it was but others ways were very different.  Kendra was a normal teenager in her school life and with her friends but at home was a different story.  She was a spy.  I enjoyed her as a character very much.  I would recommend this book for anyone who like the Spy Kids movies! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5
