I’ve always like to explore the darker, grittier side of life, travelling vicariously to places that hide from the daylight. I’m generally a cheerful, happy person that opens an internal portal to the dark side of humanity when I write. I don’t believe ‘the good old days’ ever existed.

I strive for realistic characters with flaws and failings that generate moral conflicts, and then place them into an unreal environment. Misdirection and theatrics, along with drama and tension; some broken rules as well. I try to write with a flashlight in the fog, illuminating sporadic fragments until the whole is revealed.
