The Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent

This book for me was very slow in the beginning, I almost quit reading it.  But I really like Rachel Vincent and I have been a big fan of several other series she wrote so I stuck it out.  I am glad I did.  About half way through the book, it got interesting.  I enjoyed it in the end but felt the pace in the beginning may turn some people away.  My favorite character by far was Finn.  I loved the idea that he is who he is and the way he is.  If you read the book you will understand I don’t want to give anything away.  I hope next book will have more of my favorite character in it.   3/5

Snow Globe by Jeanne Skartsiaris

This story was pretty good.  It was a feel good story for me.  I wish there was more Paranormal elements in it but overall I enjoyed it.  I would have loved the author to write much more about the psychic powers.  But this is just my opinion.  I loved the main character, Aja, and I enjoyed the her new friend Walker too.  * I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Deep in the Hollow by Brandy Nacole

Jo had a mystery to uncover in this book.  I enjoyed finding out what this was.  I loved the story and I would read more form this author.  What happed with Jo’s boyfriend?  Why she to blame?  This book made it fun for me to try to guess all these answers and many more before the author told me.  I love that.  * I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

Magic Below by Laura J. Burns

I did not read the first book in this series.  This is a different way of telling the Wizard of OZ story but mermaids are in it.  This was weird for me.  I was confused but I love mermaids so I want to give this book a chance.  I don’t think this is a series I will continue.  * I received this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  3/5

Twin Reflections by Elizabeth R. Joseph

I enjoyed this book.  Twins are fun for me to read about.  A mirror maze was also something new and fun to read in a story.  This book had me wanting to find out more.  I enjoyed the action and the characters were real to me.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Travel Glasses by Chess Desalls

This book has some time travel in it and sometimes I am not a big fan of time travel in books.  It can get very confusing if not written correctly.   This book was ok for me.  I followed along pretty well and it was interesting to see how the story progressed.  * I received a copy of this book from a LibraryThing giveaway in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

The Glass Harmonica: A Julia Franklin crime mystery by Richard Milton

I thought this might be a great book because I used to play the piano and so the cover caught my eye.  I think this book was great!  I enjoyed the mystery and the concert pianist, and the whole thing.  I was not sure what was going to happen next and I was excited to read on and find out.  I would read more from this author.  * I received this book in a Library Thing giveaway in exchange for an honest review*  4/5
