Maya is content to be third in line to the throne of Laran, but Maya soon meet the throne. The book is about how her life has changed. Is there anyone she can trust? This book was odd for me but interesting. I think it was a good idea to give animals supernatural powers. It worked ok for me. I guess maybe I was hoping for more but this book was ok for me. * I received this book from the author—this is my honest review. 3/5

Cold Moon by Alexandra Sokoloff
This series is very good! I enjoyed them very much. I love a good mystery and full of twists and turns and everything I look for in a book. I really like this author Alexandra Sokoloff as well. I think will look into other books she has since I loved this series so much. * I received this book from Netgalley—this is my honest review* 5/5
