Dead Lawyers Don’t Lie by Mark Nolan

This book was very exciting for me!  I was caught up in the action the whole time.  I did not want to put this book down.  I loved it!  There was action, adventure and so much more.  There were exciting moments and twists and turns in this book.  I loved the characters and all the energy popping off the pages. I am glad I was asked to give this book a chance and I can’t wait for book 2!!  * I received this book from the author and this is my honest review*  5/5

The Lying Planet by Carol Riggs

I enjoyed this book very much.  It is always interesting to me to pretend or dream with authors about what the world can be in the future.  I think this book is a bit Sci-fi but I see the creativity in it as well.  Living on a planet that you thought you knew and finding out it is all lies is a hard pill to swallow for sure.  Who would want it to screw up you whole life? The book has some great twists and exciting things happen.  I enjoyed it!  * I received this book from Netgalley and this is my honest review*  4/5

The Ares Weapon by D.M. Pruden

This book to me was interesting.  It was different than most books I read.  This book was very creative and I enjoyed many parts of this book.  Dr. Mel’s changing careers rings true to the change world we live in.  I think that makes it more real to me and current. I enjoyed following her on her adventures.  * I received this book from the author—this is my honest review*  4/5

Athene’s Prophecy by Ian J. Miller

I was kind of on the fence about this book.  I did like it but sometimes I was distracted by the descriptions of scientific theory in the book.  I’m not sure this book was exactly my “cup of tea” but it was ok for what it was.  I was hoping for a little more but I did learn from this book as well. * I received this book from the author–this is my honest review*  3/5

Portraits of the Dead by John Nicholl

This was a very creepy but great book!  I was glad I got a chance to listen to it.  I loved it.  It was scary and I was pulling for Emma the whole book.  I was hoping she made it.  I think the characters were believable in this book and the plot was scary.  “This review copy audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost.”  5/5
