I really enjoyed this book. There were some great elements of magic and fantasy in it. I feel like this for me was a fantasy adventure tale. I enjoyed the characters in this book. I think the author is a great storyteller. I will be excited to read book 2. I think there was a great strong female character who was just a kid.
