In Search of the Golden City by Mia Lutsch
I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like this book before. I honestly wasn’t sure at first if I would like it. I was surprised that it kept my attention better than I first thought. Akim , a man who leaves home to learn the trade of furniture making. Akim apprentices with a hermit named Asteodor. Akim soon gets called on to help the king. Akim has special abilities too. I think the characters were exciting and different. The story was unique as well. Overall, I was pleased with this book. * I received this book from the author–this is my honest review* 4/5

I loved this book. This book kept me wanting to read more from the beginning of the book. So far, I very much love this series of mystery thrillers! I really enjoyed the unpredictability of this book. It kept me reading and wanting to see if my guesses where right. A Lone Smile by Oskar Söderberg

The Flame Never Dies by Rachel Vincent
This was another great book by Rachel! I love this series so far. I think on the first book I was not as excited as I am about this book. We had lots of ups and downs with this book. I loved getting back in touch with Nina, Finn, and Mellie. Rachel added more characters that were great and much more excitement. I can’t wait for more books from Rachel! 5/5
